Although part of the structure collapsed in the 13th century, it continues to be one of the most important creations of Asturian art.
F0r the first time in the artistic style, the nave and aisles are separated by columns instead of pillars. The church decoration decoration is extremely interesting, particularly in terms of reliefs which represent circus scenes, with acrobats and animal tamers.
